Instead of just putting out bottles of liquor (Scotch, Gin, Vodka etc.) select a special drink for the evening in addition to wine and beer. For instance, choose a Cosmopolitan and tell your guests about your “featured drink,” have copies of the recipe to hand out. Guests will always expect the same drinks to be served so you might temper the surprise by letting them know in the invitation…Beer, Wine and Featured Drink!
**AND always serve non-alcoholic beverages.

Memories of a lifetime. I shall see the landscape for the rest of my life. Everyone should be so very fortunate as I to fulfill a passionate dream as was this adventure. It embraced all that I am and ever will be. I shall always be grateful to Dr. Albert Schweitzer whose biography as a child forced me to struggle with his philosophy of "reverence for life," and thus taught me to embrace and honor all living beings no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. And, to my Mother whose love of "The Songs of Hiawatha" introduced me to native Americans' land ethic. Both of these lessons are now my heart and soul. Life's blessings shall always be the song of a bird, the wing of a butterfly, the rustling of leaves, the whisper of a gentle wind, and the dampness of a light rain.
